Nature of Work
Audits the operational and financial parameters within the university to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with government guidelines and laws.
Identifies improper accounting or documentation and researches issues and makes recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly.
Master’s degree in related field or MBA. Bachelor’s degree preferably in a field related to Business or Accounting.
1 – 2 years experience using audit workpaper management system.
2-4 years experience in COSO/SOX control evaluation.
CPA,IIA CIA or CGAP Certified.
2 years or more experience using audit workpaper management system.
Salary $42,157 minimum - $58,631 midpoint Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
The employee must be able to work within a normal office environment.

Bachelor’s degree required.
2-4 years internal audit or related experience.
Certification candidate for CPA,IIA CIA or CGAP.
Must possess knowledge of audit principles and related elements and be able to describe experience based project impacts.
Exhibit practiced understanding of COSO internal control framework and the IIA International Professional Practices Framework.
Ability to relate risk-based principles to theoretical projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Products.
Understanding of the impact and application of Department of Education regulations,GAAP, HIPPA, FERPA, and related elements.
