Position Summary: The Associate Director for Residence Education is responsible for developing strategic Residence Education plans to engage in the Liberal Learning goals and professional development plans for staff in the Neighborhoods. They manage the daily operations of residence halls and apartments to create, deliver, and assess Residence Education staff training and ongoing development sessions and act as the secondary hearing officer for appeals for Contract Terminations. MSU Residence Education is a comprehensive housing operations with over 15,000 residents, more than 350 resident assistants, and more than 35 full time staff.

Faculty: Minimum Qualifications Support Staff: Minimum Requirements The job requires knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing one to two years of post-bachelor degree work such as a Master's in Higher Education Administration or related field; five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible and expansive work experience in residence hall administration; experience in program development, administration and assessment; management and/or supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
