Position Summary: The Agreement and Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and processing license, option and other agreements, including related documents and coordinating the entry, monitoring and follow up of terms and conditions of signed license and option agreements. Additionally, this individual will review and analyze diligence and royalty reports from optionees and licensees, for the purpose of identifying trends, and assessing adherence to milestones and diligence requirements, deadlines, and other obligations. The successful candidate will, on a daily basis, interact with a number of different constituencies both inside MSU and outside MSU, including licensee/option representatives, MSUT management, Technology Managers, IP finance and patent coordinators, and other staff. The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to easily manage shifting priorities, as well as a high level of motivation to achieve outcomes. The position reports to the Executive Director of MSU Technologies.

Faculty: Minimum Qualifications Support Staff: Minimum Requirements Knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Business or a related field; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience related to coordinating, drafting, processing and monitoring legal documents necessary to the successful operation of a technology commercialization program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills; the desire to work as part of a team; will be a self-starter; pay close attention to detail; follow through on tasks; be able to manage/coordinate multiple tasks; able to work successfully with academic scholars and other university staff; and have experience with digital databases.
