Duties: The Director of the Family Resource Center is responsible for setting goals and strategies to achieve the mission of the Family Center, as well as communications, operations and finances. The Director is responsible for creating programming and resources to support Penn students and post-docs with children, as well as for providing benefits such as backup care and family grant. The Director is also advises student organizations as well as individual students and postdocs.

Qualifications: BA/BS required, Master's degree or higher strongly preferred plus 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience working with families, preferably in a higher education setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a sensitivity to the needs and concerns of diverse populations. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with faculty, administrators and students. High level of organizational and administrative skills. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Experience in program planning. Knowledge of Penn policies and programs a plus.
