Duties: The Director of the Graduate Student Center is responsible for setting goals and strategies to achieve the mission of the Graduate Student Center. The Director is responsible for creating programming and resources to support 11,000+ graduate and professional students, as well as for Center communications, operations and finances. The Director also advises graduate student organizations and individual students.

Qualifications: BA/BS required, Master's degree or higher strongly preferred plus 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in higher education including experience with graduate and/or professional students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a sensitivity to the needs and concerns of diverse groups of students. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with faculty, administrators and student leaders. High level of organizational and administrative skills. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Experience in program planning. Knowledge of Penn graduate programs a plus.
