The Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology at the University of Virginia, is seeking candidates for a tenure-ineligible, Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty position, specializing in Onco-Nephrology.
This incumbent is expected to fulfill clinical duties within the UVA Health System's inpatient and ambulatory service locations, and have an interest in advancing cancer treatment research in this specialized area.
The selected candidates must have demonstrated proficiency specializing in Onco-Nephrology with an expertise and training in bone marrow/hematopoietic stem cell transplant related kidney injury, along with managing nephrotoxicity that accompanies cancer therapies for patients with cancers that affect kidney function. A M.D. or equivalent degree is required. The applicant should be board eligible or board certified in Nephrology.
