Duties and Responsibilities: Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine (SSOM) is recruiting for two faculty positions at the Professor or Associate Professor levels within the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center's Oncology Research Institute (ORI). We are particularly interested in investigators with current research activities in the areas of breast cancer or myeloid malignancies to complement our established clinical and research programs, and which would align with one of the current ORI programs (Cancer Immunotherapy, Cancer Signaling, and Cancer Gene Regulation). Successful candidates will: a) Maintain an independently funded laboratory research program within the ORI; b) Develop synergistic research collaborations spanning the relevant clinical domains; and c) Provide mentorship to junior faculty within the ORI. Our highly interactive research environment provides opportunities for translational research in association with the Cancer Center's strong clinical oncology program.

Minimum Qualifications: Conduct and/or direct Basic Science and Translational research related to oncologic processes, cause, and/or prevention, in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative environment. Maintain an independently funded laboratory research program within the Oncology Research Institute. Individuals with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. at any academic rank are welcome to apply for this full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty appointment. Funded, principal investigators at the Professor or Associate Professor level will be preferred.
