The College of Mathematics and Science currently has 135 full-time and over 75 part-time faculty in 7 academic departments. The College serves more than 3,600 undergraduate students in 26 majors and provides graduate programs in Biology, Applied Mathematical Sciences, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Engineering Physics, and Nursing. Accreditation/Certification is held by ABET, the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, the American Board of Funeral Service Education, and the American Chemical Society. Assistant Professors must have completed all requirements in a doctoral program at an accredited or internationally recognized institution; or completed a non-doctoral degree program requiring a minimum of 60 graduate hours. Teaching; research; departmental/school, college and university service is expected. This position is full-time, tenure-track position.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions:
Duties include teaching day/evening classes, graduate/undergraduate courses, scholarly activities, and service to the department, college, and university.
The successful candidate will work with students in and out of the classroom, teaching undergraduate (including introductory service courses and online courses) as well as graduate courses in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Physics, and conduct active research in a related area.
The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in professional activities.
Other responsibilities will include serving on departmental, college and university committees, and service activities appropriate to rank and appointment.
Salary Range: Commensurate with credentials and experience.
