The Bryan School of Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time non-tenure track position at the rank of Lecturer with at least an MBA or a MS/MA in international business, strategy or general management. The appointment is in the Department of Management and begins Fall 2017. Preference will be given to candidates with a record of accomplishment in the area of management. Teaching responsibilities will be in the area of management at the undergraduate level. Preference will be given to those with executive/consulting or academic experience in the areas of organizational behavior, international business, and strategy. A particular interest in decision-making in organizations and in hands-on student projects will be a strong plus in our consideration of candidates. Teaching online courses is a requirement for the position. Service to the university and to the academic and/or practicing professions is also expected.

The Department of Management offers two majors, in International Business, and Business Administration with concentrations in Business Studies (online) and Human Resources, and contributes to delivering the undergraduate business core and the MBA program. Our faculty members are very active in research and in the past five years have published in such journals as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Harvard Business Review, Human Relations, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Leadership Quarterly, and Strategic Management Journal, to name a few.

The Bryan School of Business & Economics has over 3,800 undergraduate and graduate students and more than 100 full- and part-time faculty members housed in six departments. Accredited in both business and accounting by AACSB, the Bryan School is the recipient of many honors and accolades. Numerous undergraduate and graduate programs in the School are highly ranked, including the MBA, Apparel Design, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Informational Systems. Our students perform well in national competitions and have won numerous awards.



Minimum Qualifications

MBA or a MS/MA in international business, strategy or general management
