Position Summary	
Susquehanna University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre for a one-year appointment beginning August 2017. Responsibilities include directing one main stage production per semester and teaching courses in acting (Stanislavski system), directing, and introductory theatre history.

The Theatre Department at Susquehanna University is an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts program with emphases in Performance, Production & Design, and Theatre Studies. The department is committed to cultivating the scholar-artist by balancing skills development with intellectual engagement.

Required Qualifications	
An MFA in Acting is required; a Ph.D. in Theatre History and Criticism preferred (ABD. considered).

Preferred Qualifications	
Previous college teaching and professional acting experience preferred.
