Landmark College, located in beautiful southern Vermont, is the nation’s premier institution of higher education for students who learn differently. We are seeking a Registrar to develop and direct a future-oriented and data-focused Registrar’s Office with the capacity to guide central academic and student information operations.
Reporting directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Registrar ensures the accuracy, integrity, privacy and security of the College’s official academic records for current and former students. The Registrar will oversee the student information system and ensure the system supports operational best practices; oversee student registration, grade collection, issuance of transcripts, and certification of enrollment and degree completion. The Registrar will also maintain course schedules, catalogs, collaborate on various committees to further the College’s strategic initiatives; manage the department budget and supervise staff.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree strongly preferred. Eight to ten years of progressive experience in Registration and Student Records, Enrollment Management, or Advising is required. In-depth knowledge of student information system and experience with Ellucian Power Campus is preferred along with knowledge of the operational and functional aspects of student systems and integration with other campus systems. Strong working knowledge of the standards of student recordkeeping practices in higher education. Functional expertise in the technologies of storage, retrieval, retention, archiving, and purging of records. Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and effective communication across diverse groups of constituents, including students, parents, faculty, academic advisors, alumni, and other staff is required. Strong organizational skills are essential.
