Lake-Sumter State College serves over 7,500 students annually in Lake and Sumter counties in central Florida. We invite candidates to apply for our Director of Enrollment Management position. The Director will be dedicated to: attracting, enrolling, retaining, and graduating traditional, non-traditional, international, transient, and transfer students from point of prospecting, inquiry, application, and through orientation, registration, continued enrollment, and on to completion. Ensuring a high level of service excellence, pride and belonging, and optimal enrollment. The Director executes the college’s strategic enrollment management process to achieve enrollment goals; analyzes and evaluates targeted recruitment needs; promotes institutional success by enabling effective strategic and financial planning; and creates a data-rich environment to support enrollment pathways, communication campaigns, and operational efficiencies. Responsible for the overall direction and supervision of the Admissions & Records Office, including admissions and residency processing, student records, International student services, recruitment initiatives, events, community partnerships, college switchboard, Commencement, campus tours, and college transition programs. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s core value of Service Excellence; respect, competence, responsiveness, and collaboration, in all interactions.
Required: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution required. Minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience working within Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, Admissions, Recruiting, Advising, dual enrollment, or related area at a regionally accredited institution. Minimum three (3) years of successful leadership experience administering an admissions program in a higher education setting. Direct experience planning and implementing admissions-related events and programs. Direct experience with college and university articulation policies and best practices. Significant knowledge and experience with Ellucian’s Banner. Preferred: Supervisory experience. Experience working with students utilizing VA benefits and International students. Demonstrated experience implementing successful enrollment management strategies. Demonstrated experience working with orientation programs. Demonstrated experience working with Career and/or Academic Advising. Experience in the use of a CRM product.
