Simulation Lab Coordinator
Simulation Lab Coordinator (full time). Main responsibilities of this position is to function as a collaborator, consultant, advisor, and resource person to SHP faculty utilizing simulation instruction. This position requires technical expertise and health curriculum understanding to enhance quality simulation instruction. Qualifications include bachelor’s degree or higher in either an Allied Health discipline or Nursing (RN), Computer Science, Instructional Technology, or related field required. Master’s Degree in Allied Health discipline or Nursing (RN) is preferred. Basic instructional concepts and evaluation methods in health care simulation instruction and knowledge of simulation equipment and latest technology are required. CPR health care provider certification and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification required or must be willing to obtain. Previous simulation experience current, active, and unencumbered license in the state of Georgia (if applicable) are preferred.
