The Department of Accountancy and Business Law has a vacancy for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting.

Minimum Requirements

We expect the successful candidate to begin in August 2017 or January 2018 with a completed doctorate or ABD. Candidates must be capable of excellent/dynamic teaching, developing a strong research agenda, and teaching a variety of courses to enhance the B.S. and Master’s degrees in Accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have primary interest in teaching accounting information systems. Candidates with interests in other functional areas will also be considered.

Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The Department of Accountancy and Business Law supports the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accountancy. At the graduate level, the Department offers the Master of Science in Accountancy degree and supports the Master of Business Administration degree offered by the Cameron School of Business.
