Instructor or Assistant Professor of Talent Development
Tusculum College School of Education invites applications for an Instructor or Assistant Professor of Talent Development. This is a full-time position that will be teaching at the College’s main campus in Greeneville, TN and the other off-site locations in Knoxville, and Morristown. This position will be responsible for developing and teaching face-to-face and online courses for traditional aged and adult students. Some of the classes will be taught in the evening for the Professional Studies Adult Education program. Tusculum College is primarily a teaching institution, and applicants should be committed to teaching excellence. Faculty members are expected to advise students, serve on college committees and participate in curriculum/program development and assessment. Salary is negotiable and dependent upon education and experience.
The anticipated start date will be June 2017; the review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Required qualifications include a master’s degree in Talent Development, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Human Resource Training and Development or related field from an accredited institution, and at least two years teaching experience that includes teaching fully online courses.
Preferred qualifications include an earned doctorate degree in Talent Development, Human Resource Training and Development or related field from an accredited institution, experience in online and/or hybrid program development, experience in program assessment, and three years full-time college teaching experience that demonstrates excellence in teaching.
