The postdoctoral candidate will be involved in research to develop new strategies to targeting breast cancer and other cancer. The focus will be on the characterization of novel DNA damage response players that are involved in genome stability and cancer. Other studies will focus on Glycosylation modification and cancer cell metabolism. The research team uses an integrative approach that involves cell and molecular biology, proteomics, and in vivo mouse studies. The Post Doctoral Scientist responsibilities include: (1) Plans independent research, analyzes and publishes results; (2) develops new theories and methodologies; (3) trains and provides functional supervision over lower level research staff; and (4) attends meetings/conferences in conjunction with the Principal Investigator to present research.
