The goal of Employee and Organizational Development is to provide UC Riverside with the knowledge, skills, and attributes needed to meet the organization's strategic priorities. The goals is to grow organizational talent and build capability to meet the needs of the future. The Principle Trainer's key role is to work in partnership with the EOD Director and HRMG team to plan EOD development initiatives and curriculum using a strategic focus and mindset with an emphasis in creating multimedia designs to support educational videos and promotion of learning events. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a career development and mentoring program, create and maintain a talent pool of leaders, facilitate leadership development classes and learning experiences, create content for future workshops based on needs assessment, developing key partnerships on campus to grow our influence at the university, and partner with selected vendors to roll out upcoming programs and serve as lead to the training team.
Advanced knowledge of training and development, performance management and workplace learning. Ability to apply knowledge to achieve successful organizational outcomes.
Advanced skills in planning, resourcing and monitoring effective training delivery.
Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and advanced presentation skills.
Advanced analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of functional area and advanced understanding of how work impacts other areas in human resources and the organization.
Advanced knowledge of training and delivery methodologies, organizational diagnosis and organization and business strategies.
Advanced knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
