Position Information
This position performs operational level work in Dr. Laosheng WU Water Management Laboratory. The projects are mainly related to measurement and modeling of water and solute transport in soil and water systems; development of best management practices to maximize water and fertilizer use efficiency and minimize surface and ground water pollution; water quality protection and management; and reclaimed wastewater reuse.

The initial appointment of the position is for one year. Continuity of the appointment will be contingent on the availability of grant funding.

Minimum Requirements
Good communication skills and ability to maintain a clean and organized lab.

Working experiences in instruments related to soil and water sampling and analysis.

Experiences in assisting with field trials related to soil water and irrigation management.

Basic skill in operation of a computer.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in soil science or related disciplines.
