The Alfred State College Automotive Department is in search of an instructor to teach in the senior year of our two-year A.O.S. degree program. The ideal applicant will be experienced and proficient in all aspects of automotive repair. The primary responsibilities include instructing and advising students. The topics to be taught may include but are not limited to: Engine repair, electrical systems, service management, and drivability diagnosis. The ideal candidate will also be fluent with computers used for word processing, email, and grading.
An associate or higher degree, and a minimum of seven years of experience, with five of those years working as a technician, are required. Certifications and factory service training are desirable.
