Data Support Specialist

This position will serve as a data support specialist for the Registrar's office and OneStop student services. The position will assist with basic reporting needs, manage submissions to the Data Request Portal for student data, and respond to requests for student data. As an integral part of the DegreeWorks team, position responsibilities will include scribe updates, exception processing, testing for software upgrades, and collaborating/implementing future enhancements. The position will serve as a liaison with ITS on projects centered on the goal of improving student service and the advising experience. The position will process major and minor declarations. The position will be cross-trained to provide backup assistance for transfer evaluations and other office processes. Job tasks will often require communication and collaboration with other campus offices.The candidates we seek have experience with the following programs/software:
- Banner Student
- Knowledge of higher education practices and policies
- Knowledge of FERPA regulations
- Strong communication skills
