-Provide oversight for all animal husbandry, our animal surgery team, organizing, set-up, ordering, the Endo/Sham surgeries and follow-up animal care and animal treatments.
-Participate in all animal surgeries.
-Work with the PI to provide direction and oversight of the development of three generations of embryos and offspring from Endo and Sham rats.
-Supervise tissue/sample collection for appropriate allocation to all experiments.
-Perform all techniques for studying epigenetic modifications, imprinting, and deviations in embryo survival mechanisms.
-Oversee laboratory technical personnel, graduate and undergraduate students who may be assisting with this project.
-Successful candidate is expected to prepare and present their research at national / international meetings in the field and publish two manuscripts per year.
-One to two years in related laboratory work, a good publication list, evidence of ability to earn external funding and excellent references is preferred.
