Teaching assignment will include instruction in related on campus radiologic technology laboratories at the associate level. Provide necessary documentation for continued accreditation with JRCERT to include outcomes assessment. Additional duties within the Physical and Life Sciences department will include assisting in student recruitment, student orientation and advisement, curriculum/course development, liaison to the external curriculum advisory committee and clinical sites, and various college/department service. Applied research and grant writing opportunities are also available and encouraged.
The Radiography Clinical Coordinator is responsible for supervision of the clinical education portion of program, as well as the placement and supervision of students at the clinical site. To achieve this goal, it is expected that the clinical coordinator will make regular visits to clinical sites where students are being trained, will cultivate new clinical sites and maintain positive relations with existing clinical sites
- BS in Radiologic Science, Radiologic Technology, Health Education or closely related field.
- Two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- Preferred one year of experience in teaching as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
- Preferred experience in curriculum development and student advisement, supervision and evaluation.
- Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists current registration in radiography or equivalent (i.e., unrestricted state license for the state in which the program is located).
