The Department of Neurology at The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking a physiatrist for our growing Division of Rehabilitation Medicine.

The Division provides a collegial environment of the highest caliber for clinical practice at the George Washington University Hospital, a Level 1 academic trauma center in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include serving as an Inpatient Acute Hospital Consultant, Outpatient Physiatrist, and Inpatient Attending Physiatrist in our 16 bed unit. Additional clinical opportunities are available for those with an interest in traumatic brain injury. Full-time faculty also teach medical students and residents and engage in scholarly activity. Salary and rank (Instructor, Assistant and Associate Professor) will be commensurate with experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be Board certified or eligible in PM&R at the time of appointment and have evidence of excellence in clinical care and clinical research. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Clinical experience, strong communication skills, desire for collaboration, and a commitment to quality are necessary.
