LECTURER – Dept. of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at UIC

The Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at UIC expects openings at full and/or part-time lecturer positions available Fall 2017.  Each position is responsible for teaching general mathematics, computer programming and / or statistics courses, advising and assisting students, and supervising teaching assistants, as needed.  Qualifications include experience teaching mathematics, computer programming and / or statistics at the University or College level, and a Master’s Degree in mathematics or a related discipline.  Applicants should be qualified to teach a range of undergraduate courses in math, statistics, and computer science.  These appointments would be for a single semester or entire academic year, ranging from 33% to 100%; they are not tenure-track appointments.  Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
