The College of Business, Humanities and Social Sciences seeks to hire a full-time, tenure-track Instructor/Assistant Professor of Accounting to begin August 11, 2017. We are seeking an outstanding teacher to complement the faculty in the Department of Accounting/Management.


Responsibilities include teaching 12 undergraduate hours per semester and other responsibilities commensurate with a teaching position. The successful candidate will join a department with a student-centered philosophy.

The department seeks a candidate who demonstrates exemplary communication skills, collegiality, and the ability to contribute to the intellectual and cultural life of the university. An ability to teach effectively at the college level is essential.


For assignment at the Instructor rank, a Masters in Accounting or an MBA plus CPA or CMA certification is required by the time of appointment.


For assignment at the Assistant Professor rank, a doctorate in Accounting or a doctorate in related fields or an ABD in Accounting plus CPA certification is required by the time of appointment.
