Appointment:

School of Business and Leadership, full time, two-year appointment, begins fall term 2017

Responsibilities

  • Teach three undergraduate courses in management each semester: two Principles of Management and one management elective per term. Ability to teach Principles of Management from an international or global perspective is expected; cultural intelligence is a key construct. Elective courses could include human resources, leadership, organizational behavior, non-profit management or another course related to your expertise. Management teaching experience preferred.

  • The successful teaching approach will stimulate independent critical thinking and promote effective written and oral communication skills. Problem solving should be an important component of these classes.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. (ABD considered) in management. Ph.D. in a related liberal arts or business discipline will be considered.

  • A proven commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education.

  • For those candidates whose doctoral degrees are in non-business disciplines, relevant work experience in the area of management and the possession of a Master in Business Administration degree will be strongly preferred.
