Position Summary:
The Finance and Human Resources Systems Coordinator is part of a team of business analysts tasked with the day to day operations and long term planning of the University of Idaho's (UI) Finance and Human Resources administrative systems. Primary responsibility for this team member will be to provide backup and support to the Application Administrator(s). The Application Administrator(s) are the functional expert and liaison to central Information Technology Services with an understanding of the business needs and processes and applications that support those areas. Under the direction of the Application Administrator(s) this position's tasks will include, but not limited to, maintenance of rule and validation table data; input and testing of system rules and codes; maintenance of electronic approval processes; end user access maintenance; providing first level end user support; working with end users to test and implement upgrades and enhancements; reporting, including ad-hoc; troubleshooting system and data problems for end users.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline OR related experience totaling 4 years or more with ERP Management Information Systems
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience providing customer service
• Strong knowledge of computers and computer software applications
• Experience working within a team environment
• Experience solving complex problems
• Ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously and successfully
• Record of working effectively and cooperatively with diverse clientele in determining project needs and timelines
• Demonstrate innovation, motivation and self-direction
• Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Higher Education
• Ellucian Banner experience
• Experience in business process analysis
• Familiarity with and/or knowledge of SQL language
