CHEMICAL AND BIOMOLECULAR ENGINEERING
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking exceptional candidates for a full-time faculty position in the broad areas of computation, systems, materials, transport, energy, sustainability, or biotechnology. Applications for a tenure-track/tenured faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level are welcome. Faculty members in the department teach undergraduate and graduate level courses and are expected to initiate and sustain a vigorous research program. An earned Ph.D. with a distinguished academic record is required. Candidates for associate or full professor rank should have demonstrated evidence of leadership in the field at the national and international level, respectively.
The target starting date is August 16, 2017 but is flexible based on candidate's needs. For full consideration, applications must be received by December 1, 2016. Early applicants may be interviewed before the closing date. However, every application submitted prior to the closing date will receive full consideration. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
