The Graduate School of Management (GSOM) at Clark University, AACSB-accredited since 1986, invites applications for two full-time visiting assistant professor positions for the 2017-2018 academic year to begin in August 2017. The appointment requires a Ph.D. (or ABD status) in a related field from an AACSB-International accredited or equivalent institution. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of potential for teaching excellence in one or more of the following areas: operations and supply chain management, big data statistics, quantitative methods, management information systems. Candidates must have ability to teach at the undergraduate and master’s levels. The teaching load for each position will be six courses for the academic year. The exact teaching assignments will be determined based on the qualifications and interests of the finalists within the course categories stated above. Qualified applicants will have an earned Ph.D. degree (or ABD status) in operations management, industrial engineering, supply chain management, statistics or quantitative methods, business analytics, information systems or other relevant field. Industry experience is a plus but not required. Applicants must have experience teaching at the college level and demonstrate skills consistent with teaching excellence and strong ability to relate material to relevant business and management applications. The GSOM offers an undergraduate management major, as well as MBA, MS in Accounting (full-time and part-time), MS in Finance, MS in Management, and MS in Business Analytics.
