Duties: Primary duties involve acquiring MR images from specimens and human subjects, processing, archiving and performing analysis of resulting image data from the scanners, and maintaining related records for multiple NIH-funded studies. Training will be provided to develop proficiency in operating a MRI scanner.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or related field; and 0-1 year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Familiarity with personal computers and their operating systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office or other word processing and spreadsheet programs; working knowledge of MATLAB required. The successful candidate will have the necessary interpersonal skills to work effectively with faculty and other members of the laboratory. This position will provide opportunities for contributing to publications and grant applications and would be ideal for someone considering a future application to graduate or medical school.
