Job Summary: Roosevelt University's Infrastructure team seeks an experienced Network Administrator for the Chicago campus. This position is responsible for the research, installation, layout, security, support, and maintenance of new and existing network systems at Roosevelt University. This is a full-time, exempt position located on the Chicago campus. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Technology Infrastructure and Operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: A bachelors degree required. A minimum of 3 years experience in network administration; including wired (LAN/WAN) and wireless support. Familiarity with Cisco VoIP systems, including Call Manager, Unity unified messaging, Call Center, E911, and related services. Familiarity with Cisco hardware, Active Directory, firewall appliances and software, bandwidth shaping appliances and software. Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Preferred Qualifications: CCNA Certification is a plus. Preferred experience with Cisco VoIP hardware and software. Previous experience in Higher Education is preferred.
