Project Manager/Technical Training Specialist
Reporting to the Dean of Engineering, Business and Information Technologies and the Director of Workforce and Business Solutions, the Project Manager and Technical Training Specialist will: manage the day-to-day activities of the TAACCCT base grant to accomplish and report on required deliverables by deadlines. The Project Manager and Technical Training Specialist will: analyze needs, organize, and manage technical training credit and non-credit programs. These traning programs are to be based on high demand, and will include apprenticeship programs. The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating and communicating with Ohio TechNet schools and internal and external partners. This position is responsible to positively impact sales of customized services and training solutions for business and industry.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree; minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing project management such as general manager or front-line supervisor; experience in sales, and with engaging employers and outreach to agencies; experience in grant management and/or compliance; knowledge of Ohio's manufacturing skills gap issues; experience in technical training and design,experience with budget development/program cost; familiarity with data collection and analysis; and understanding of adult learning. Candidate should be a highly organized, self-motivated problem solver with excellent interpersonal, communication and team building skills.
