Clark University is seeking a Coordinator to join the University Advancement Department. Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR), the Coordinator assists with annual fundraising commitment of $2-5 million for University programs, initiatives, and strategic priorities. This work includes prospect research, donor stewardship, assisting with proposal preparation, providing administrative support, and other duties. The Coordinator will help develop Prospect Research, by identifying corporate and foundation (C&F) funding opportunities and prospects that support institutional and departmental priorities, and assist with faculty/staff projects and programs, as well as creating quarterly “RFP” distribution list. The Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating Donor Stewardship, by drafting thank-you letters, drafting and reviewing reports on the use of grants/gifts, etc. The Coordinator assists the Director and Associate Director with Proposal Preparation, by gathering institutional data/documents, proofreading, etc. This position also includes coordinating Grant and Gift Set-Up, by coordinating the set-up of grants, restricted gifts, and gifts with Grant Accounting, Office of Business & Financial Services, UA Data/Research team, Principal Investigators, and Department/Center Grant Coordinators. Other responsibilities include: Faculty and Staff Outreach and Donor Communication, by assisting with CFR outreach to staff and faculty, communicating with prospects/donors about questions on proposal guidelines/etc. The Coordinator also provides administrative support to the Director and Associate Director, and other duties as assigned. We seek applicants with a Bachelors’ Degree and 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably in CFR with strong communication skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to: work with diverse faculty and staff across campus; and to work under pressure in a deadline-driven, often fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week position.
