Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking an Assistant Director for the Office Graduate Student Affairs. The Office of Graduate Student Affairs strive to foster a collegial and positive environment for all members of the campus community.
The Assistant Director of Student Affairs will support and foster community among more than 2000 graduate and doctoral students. The incumbent will assume primary responsibility over 1) Graduate Enrichment Series, 2) Orientation (Fall and Spring) -programming and implementation, 3) Academic Integrity, 4) Representative on the Stevens CARE Team and 5) work closely with international student population with general support, while establishing and tracking student learning outcomes.

• analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills,
• polished presentation skills,
• an active interest in developing resources and programs relevant to the student population's needs and interest,
• support the Director in facilitating relationships with internal and external units that promote diversity efforts and inclusion of all graduate students.
The Assistant Director will lead the development and management of student programming on campus with focus on academic and professional development, and cultural needs specifically via the Graduate Enrichment Series. S/he will provide logistical support and on-site supervision for activities as needed. The incumbent will also work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff across campus to develop support and retention, and support academic and student success departmental resources and student activities. Additional areas of responsibility will include but not limited to:
• Graduate Enrichment Series,
• Graduate Women's Programs,
• Master Thesis Series,
• Academic Integrity programming,
• Commencement and traditional event coverage, which may occur nights and/or weekends.
