Teaching Professor or Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering
Teaching Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor or Lecturer, or Sr. Lecturer- Biomedical Engineering. The Department of Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, and Biological Sciences is seeking to fill a non-tenure track teaching faculty position at the level of Lecturer, Sr. Lecturer, or Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful applicant should hold a PhD in biomedical engineering or a closely related field with significant relevant career experience, and have a demonstrated track record of excellence in teaching as indicated by positive teaching assessments from colleagues and/or students. We are particularly interested in individuals who have experience teaching in the area of biomechanics and kinematics, or in cardiovascular or pulmonary engineering physiology. The successful applicant will be expected to re-design existing courses and to develop new courses using evidence-based teaching methods. In addition to teaching, the successful applicant will be expected to participate in student advising, to be an active member of the intellectual community, and, if appropriate, to supervise curriculum-based student research.
