A postdoctoral research position is immediately available in the Junge lab at the University of Colorado Boulder. The areas of study include retinal angiogenesis, blood-retina barrier development, and neural-vascular interactions.
The Junge lab uses mouse genetics, cell-based assays, and molecular approaches to understand signaling pathways - particularly Wnt/Norrin signaling - in mediating the above-named biological processes.
We are looking for a candidate with strong bench skills who is immediately productive in our research area. Experience in library preparation for whole transcriptome sequencing and differential expression analysis as well as experience in mouse genetics is a strong plus. The ideal candidate is a creative and careful experimentalist with good observation skills. The candidate has demonstrated the ability to complete projects and enjoys thinking and discussing about science.
