I. JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description Summary:

The Office of Medical Education (OME) serves as the centralized office committed to developing, delivering and evaluating curriculum for both pre-clinical and clinical medical education. The OME includes staff and decanal faculty and supports faculty, students and curricular committees. The Program Assistant works with all member of OME by supporting the curriculum management and evaluation responsibilities as well as providing administrative support.
Responsibilities Include:
• Prepares end-of-course teacher evaluations for department review
• Maintains records for curriculum meetings: create agenda, take notes, prepare minutes, and track action items
• Summarizes data and reports
• Creates presentations for curriculum development
• Supports the creation of faculty evaluations in Qualtrics and verify completed student evaluations
• Proctors medical student exams
• Maintains up-to-date directories of office personnel, committee members, and other curriculum stakeholders
• Oversees office procurement, including holding office purchase card, maintaining and ordering supplies, working with external vendors, and purchasing food and supplies for meeting and events
• Supports travelling staff by purchasing and arranging airfare and conference registration
• Reviews and approves office staff timesheets and leave records
• Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED, or equivalent combination of training and experience, is necessary plus 1.5 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree.

Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Qualtrics or a similar analytical, survey software.
