Clinical Assistant Professor (12 Month Appointment)

Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Athletic Training, or related area. BOC certification. New York State (or eligible for) Certified Athletic Trainer. Minimum two years of college teaching experience within a CAATE athletic training program. Minimum two years experience in the clinical instruction of athletic training students. Minimum of two years clinical athletic training experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited athletic training program. Demonstrated success teaching at college level. Evidence of scholarly activity. Commitment to research and professional development. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population.
Responsibilities & Requirements: The Clinical Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching didactic courses, laboratory sessions and integration sections within the athletic training education program as delegated by the Program Chair. In addition, the Clinical Assistant Professor will serve as an academic advisor to athletic training major students and assist in student recruitment.
Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2017.
