Position Summary:

Teaches, advises and mentors students, evaluates student performance, and maintains department and student records in accordance with university policies.

Adheres to the educational philosophy of the university.

Works in a collaborative manner with colleagues and professional peers.

Participates in university meetings that relate specifically to faculty.

Serves on department, college, and university committees as requested.

Prepares departmental reports as requested.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions:

The Management Department is seeking an individual to shape, develop, and instruct in our MBA program, particularly in the area of Healthcare Management. Primary teaching responsibilities will be for our Downtown MBA program housed in Oklahoma City’s Central Business District. More information on UCO’s MBA program can be found at

We are seeking an individual with expertise in healthcare management to grow our educational offerings at the graduate and undergraduate level.

The Management Department currently houses 12 full-time faculty members, and offers majors in Human Resource Management, Management, and PGA Golf Management. UCO’s HRM Program is one of the nationally recognized programs aligning with the Society for Human Resource Management’s curriculum guidelines. The Management Department also currently administers the MBA Program for the College of Business.

Salary Range: Commensurate with credentials and experience.
