STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Transfer Pre-Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the data entry and processing of transfer applicants. Serving as the primary support member for the transfer team, the incumbent will collaborate on projects related to both freshman and transfer admissions. Occasional flexibility to support evening and weekend events will be needed.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Receive, review, and process all college-level transcripts, CLEP, AP scores, and other application materials according to policies and procedures established by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
•Assist in the maintenance of the transfer course data base.
•Provide excellent customer service to prospective students, parents, and other influencers regarding the application process.
•Manage the process of printing and disseminating all decision letters generated by the Office.
•Responsible for file management and tracking projects.
•Remain current with new technologies as the Office of Undergraduate Admissions evolves toward a paperless process.
•Prioritize and organize workload on a daily basis to keep up with new projects.
•Maintain flexibility in order to adjust to evolving job duties and shifting workloads as the Office of Undergraduate Admissions moves toward a change in enterprise technology systems.
•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree. A relevant combination of education and experience, as determined by the hiring manager, may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. The incumbent in this position must possess exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. S/he should have direct experience managing large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment. Fluency and adaptability with regard to technology are required. A demonstrated ability to learn new computer systems quickly is needed. The incumbent must also possess exceptional customer service skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
