Scene Shop Supervisor/Lecturer in Theatre
FILLING THIS POSITION WILL BE CONTINGENT UPON STATE APPROPRIATE FUNDS AVAILABILITY
Required: MA in Theatre or related field
Primary Responsiblities: Manage and supervisor the theatre scene shop, supervise theatre workshop students and student workers in the construction and implementation of theatrical sets and technical requirements in support of the departmental productions. Work with department faculty to design and install lights and sound for theatrical and musical productions. Teach two theatre courses each semester. Candidates must be flexible and able to recruit and motivate students with a wide range of abilities.
Responsible for the safety of others. Must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. Position is Security Sensitive.
