ADMIN COORDINATOR, STEWARDSHIP COMMUNICATIONS
Duties: Reporting to the Director of Stewardship Communications; work closely with Stewardship Communications Staff Writers and Associate Directors. Provide broad-based administrative, production, and proof-reading support including (but not limited to) activities related to senior level donor and alumni relations correspondence; undergraduate scholarships; and other stewardship communications projects. Make writing assignments from the daily gift report to DARMAX staff writers creating correspondence for the President and VP of Development's signatures. Assist with proof-reading correspondence in accordance with written guidelines. Produce finalized correspondence and deliver to President's office on a daily basis. Pre-edit and format student information in scholarship data base in preparation for finalization by staff writers. Assist with printing and packaging undergraduate scholarships reports for distribution to donors electronically and by mail. Assist with proof-reading the People Supporting Penn website, The Penn Priority, and other stewardship communications projects as they occur. Perform administrative functions for the Director as assigned.
Qualifications: High School Diploma and 5 to 7 years of professional work experience utilizing progressively responsible administrative and writing-related skills required; Associates Degree or two years' college equivalent preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Computer literacy a must, including superior knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to learn internal database programs. Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as a member of a team; ability to meet deadlines and accommodate unanticipated requests. Ability to staff events as needed.
