Business Development/Sales - Engine & Vehicle Testing Services

Chronos Consulting's client is a global B2B Powertrain Testing Services leader that provides a wide range of cutting-edge services to support the latest requirements for engine performance testing. Due to expansion, we are seeking an engineer with a sales mentality to support the growth of the Powertrain Testing Services division.
Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will:
Identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with new and existing customers, and position testing services within the US marketplace
Develop and deliver technical presentations and proposals based on customer specifications and requirements
Participate in professional associations, trade shows, and other networking activities that elevate the company's profile; identify industry trends by researching sector publications and discussing potential needs with customers; and recommend potential new products and services
Work internally with a cross functional team to ensure test procedures are communicated promptly, correctly, and on time
Attractive and uncapped commission structure is offered for achieving sales targets
Bachelor's degree in an applicable Engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience along with 5+ years of engineering, sales, or business development experience (in a technical capacity), ideally in powertrain testing services
Technical presentation experience (oral and written)
Customer focused mentality coupled with industry relationships and networking ability
Service-oriented, assertive, flexible, and responsive
Travel 75% within the Detroit metro area and the Midwest
