Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science at Colgate University invites applications for one or more positions in computer science at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor beginning fall semester 2017. Appointments will be made for one year with the possibility of renewal. We encourage candidates in all areas of specialization to apply. Completion of a PhD is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire.
In each semester, the successful candidate can expect to teach two courses plus associated laboratory sections, which may include courses in the candidate's area of specialization. To support the candidate's scholarship, Colgate offers funding opportunities for travel to professional meetings, for professional development, and for students to participate in the candidate's research projects.
