Duties: With guidance from the Division Chief, this individual will take a lead role in conducting and coordinating clinical research activities within Penn Rheumatology with a specific focus on clinical trials, especially within the Penn Vasculitis Center, but also within the Lupus Program, Sj gren s Syndrome Center, Scleroderma Center, and other programs. The position includes both a direct role as a research study coordinator and a role in harmonizing the work of the clinical research staff within the Division, including workflow processes, standardizing recruitment, study implementation procedures, strategic planning and medium/long term budgeting.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Direct experience as a clinical research coordinator preferred. Management and supervisory experience preferred but not required. Effective problem solving abilities. Effective communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Knowledge of IRB and human research regulations.
