Duties: Assist Director in managing all aspects of the Standardized Patient (SP) Program, including administration of programs, hiring and training SPs, conducting quality assurance, developing cases and program materials, and assisting in technical, professional, and logistical requirements for all activities with SPs in a medical school and health system environment.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (theater/theater administration, health profession, or education preferred) and at least three years of experience working in a standardized patient environment as an SP, SP trainer or SP program assistant are required.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interact/present in a professional manner with diverse groups of people. Outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential.

Superb attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously are critical. Candidate should be able to exercise good judgment, prioritize appropriately, work well independently and collaboratively. Initiative, flexibility and creativity are all vital to the success of the position, as the program continues to expand.

Knowledge of medical interviewing, physical exam skills, and disease processes a plus. Intermediate to advanced PC skills in multiple applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail (Outlook) and the Internet are required. Experience using SP software and audiovisual tools a plus.
