Usual Duties: TECHNICIAN I: Supports and maintains minor in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. Performs installation, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all minor hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. Troubleshoots issues and minor problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion. TECHNICIAN II: Supports and maintains in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. Performs installations, diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and upgrades all minor hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. Troubleshoots issues in a timely and accurate fashion. TECHNICIAN III: Support and maintain campus computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required.

Other Requirements for the Position: TECHNICIAN I: High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. One year of technology-related experience or experience in a related field. Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems and standards, including Windows or Mac OS, Microsoft office, printers, basic multimedia systems and e-mail applications is required. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. TECHNICIAN II: Associate's Degree or sixty hours of college in related field. Two years of experience in a related field required. Technical knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft office, printers, and e-mail applications is required. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. TECHNICIAN III: Bachelor's degree in related field with at least two years related experience required.
