Earth Science Lab Assistant (PT)
The Earth Science (ESC) Lab Assistant is responsible to the Assistant Dean of Mathematics and Sciences, who will schedule and supervise the ESC Lab Assistant.
Maintain, organize and inventory equipment and materials.
Set up and take down individual laboratory exercises, sanitize laboratories and prep areas, and store equipment and materials properly.
Assist in the ordering of new and disposal of old equipment and materials.
Assist in maintaining and updating classroom laptops and computers.
Assist faculty in special projects such as scanning maps, National Geography Day, and so on.

Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of at least college earth science lab course.
Able to work independently and follow directions.
Flexibility in scheduling of work hours required. Some evening work may be required as well as occasional travel to the Plano campus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft and Excel.
