Assistant Director, Student Engagement
Reporting to the Executive Director for Annual Giving, the Assistant Director, Student Engagement is primarily responsible for planning, developing and implementing integrated student engagement and fundraising strategies, using short and long-range programming goals aimed at increasing participation and involvement from that constituency. The position must have superb management skills to grow volunteer engagement in dollars raised and student participation rates with major focus on the students of the senior class. The position will create and foster relationships with on-campus partners to integrate annual fund activity into efforts with students such as Convocation, Orientation, Homecoming, Day of Giving, Welcome Week, Alumni Weekend and Commencement.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of directly related experience in annual giving, alumni relations, development, volunteer management, or related field. Experience in personally soliciting gifts. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

* Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
* Working knowledge of all applicable computer software and applicable professional principles
