The University of Virginia (UVA) seeks a progressive, forward thinker to serve as the Assistant Vice President for Financial Operations (AVPFO). The AVPFO leads 60+ professional and administrative staff with oversight for accounting, financial reporting, procurement, payroll, tax, and accounts receivable. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance, the AVPFO will develop and maintain strong working relationships and collaborative partnerships with the UVAFinance leadership team, the Chief Audit Executive, the University Treasurer; financial leaders in each of the schools, the UVA Medical Center, the UVA's College at Wise, and affiliated foundations.

In support of the Cornerstone Program, the University has embarked on a path of organizational excellence, with human resources and research administration among the first major transformational areas. We now seek a leader to plan and implement a transformation of core business practices at the University, including accounting, procurement, and payroll.
